Weighting System

Critical (3x)

Most important factors that can make or break a project

Significant (2x)

Important factors that heavily influence success

Moderate (1x)

Useful factors that contribute to overall evaluation

Scoring Methodology

1. Input Collection

Each criterion is rated according to its specific measurement unit - from simple yes/no questions to detailed ranges and scales.

2. Score Conversion

All ratings are converted to a standardized 1-5 scale for consistent comparison across different measurement types.

3. Weight Application

Scores are multiplied by their priority weight: Critical (3x), Significant (2x), or Moderate (1x).

4. Final Calculation

The sum of all weighted scores is divided by the maximum possible weighted score to generate a final percentage ranking.

Example Calculation

Criteria: "Problem it solves for the market"
Raw Score: 4/5 (Big problem causing real pain)
Weight: Critical (3x)
Weighted Score: 4 × 3 = 12 points
Maximum Possible: 5 × 3 = 15 points
